City of Vancouver opened the VanDusen Botanical Garden on 24 Nov, 2022 with a preview dedicated to its staff and families. Hundreds of these eligible members turned up to get the first glimpse of this special Festival of Lights before it opened its doors to the public the following day. The mood was very jovial as spectators enjoyed a kick off of the Christmas spirit, all dolled up as the music played on in the background through the night. The kids had a special treat as they lined up to buy mini-doughnuts and hot chocolate at the concessions.
